This
page illustrates the difference between the natural lacquered
steel
look of Acero S-55 and Oxidado S-52 vs. the Metallo S-57
"finished" look. The Acero and Oxidado finishes provide a raw
industrial
look while the Metallo gives
a more
subtle version
of the metallic effect.

Metallo
Notice here that the Acero
finish leaves the colorations of the welds and fabrication marks.
The metal is protected by a clear lacquer
With the Metallo finish,
you get the same coloration except, the finish covers the welds
and fabrication marks for a clean metallic look
Another view of the exposed
welds. In this image you can also see the steel fabrication mark
running along the length of the tube formed around the post.
